CHCI Education Center
CHCI's mission is to develop the next generation of Latino leaders by promoting higher education, providing unmatched career development experience, and award-winning leadership development curriculum.
In 1987, CHCI created its Education Center to meet the needs of Latino youth, parents and educators looking for resources to assist Latino students through the educational process. Twenty-three years later, we continue to provide the most up-to-date information so students have all the resources they need to finish high school, go to college, and begin successful careers on their way to becoming the next generation of Latino leaders.
By 2030, if projections hold, over 50 percent of the Latino population will be under 24 years of age. By 2025, at least one out of every two workers entering the U.S. labor force will be of Hispanic descent - it is imperative that we improve Latino graduation rates. CHCI's Towards 2030 initiative aims to address the critical need for higher education and improved graduation rates among the country's fastest growing and youngest demographic - Latinos.
We hope you find this information useful and encourage you to share our Web site and information with your peers, parents, teachers, and guidance counselors.
