CHCI’s 2011 Hispanic Heritage Month Events

Join the largest and most prestigious gathering of the Hispanic community in the nation by attending CHCI’s Hispanic Heritage Month Events.  CHCI Chair Rep. Charles A. Gonzalez, U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis, 16 members of Congress, and national leaders will convene in Washington, D.C. on September 11-14 to host CHCI’s distinguished events.

CHCI's Public Policy Conference schedule outlines the outstanding plenary sessions, keynote luncheons, and policy summits offered September 11-13.  Speakers include Latino leaders from government, corporate, labor, and nonprofit communities who will facilitate timely discussions of critical policy issues important to the Latino community and the nation.

CHCI’s 11th Annual Reyes of Comedy will feature top Latino comedians as well as emerging Latino talent.  A big announcement of the comedic lineup is coming soon, so mark your calendar to support CHCI’s youth leadership development programs by attending on September 13.

Be a part of the nation’s premier celebration of the Latino community. September 14 is an evening of entertainment and appreciation at CHCI’s 34th Annual Awards Gala. This event brings together nearly 3,000 guests to recognize CHCI’s highest honors and pay tribute to individuals who have made significant contributions to improve and strengthen the Latino community.
