Latin music’s hottest new singer-songwriter Prince Royce will kick off CHCI’s 34th Annual Awards Gala by performing the national anthem and a special musical tribute. Nominated for a Latin GRAMMY® and winner of four 2011 Billboard Latin Music Awards and three 2011 Premio Lo Nuestro Awards, Prince Royce will set the stage for the evening’s festivities.

Known as the Prince of Salsa, GRAMMY®-award winning recording artist and Latin music legend Luis Enrique will keep the party going. Considered to be one of the best percussionists of Latin music, Luis Enrique will delight attendees with his exceptional voice and upbeat performance.

Keeping the Promise is a five-year campaign to raise $43 million to strengthen and expand the reach and scope of our high school college readiness program, annual scholarships and other college attainment efforts, and professional development programs, including internships and fellowships.
Our programs draw from a national group of young Latinos and provide the financial support, resources, and direct work experience on Capitol Hill to develop a pipeline of highly talented young Latino Leaders.
