The prestigious CHCI 35th Anniversary Awards Gala recognizes CHCI’s highest honors and celebrates the outstanding accomplishments of Latino leaders who are giving back to their communities.  Nearly 3,000 guests, including federal and local elected officials, corporate and nonprofit leaders, and celebrities, will gather at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center on September 13.  María Elena Salinas, George Lopez, Lt. Col. Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch (ret.), Dr. Alfredo Quiñones, and other distinguished guests have already confirmed to attend this year’s event, which will honor CHCI’s past, present, and future of “Keeping the Promise” to young Latinos.  Building on last year’s success, an exciting after party featuring top Latino entertainers will be held immediately following.
