Support CHCI's Public Policy Fellowship Program

The CHCI Public Policy Fellowship Fund helps provide promising Latinos from across the country the opportunity to come to Washington DC for nine months, to gain hands-on experience in the public policy area of their choice, and to participate in nationally acclaimed leadership development training program. There is no minimum contribution.

Major Donor Gifts

$50,000 (Note: the minimum should cover the full cost of one fellowship)

  • Option to name one fellow

  • Thank you note from fellow

  • Receive fellow’s profile and contact information

  • Recognition on program signage and on fellowship page of CHCI website

  • Opportunity to participate in CareerLink Live at CHCI’s Public Policy Conference to interview talented Latino youth for intern and job placement

  • Logo on fellowship page of CHCI website

  • Invitation to fellows graduation

  • Framed certificate of appreciation indicating company’s support for developing the next generation of Latino leaders

  • Opportunity to review applications for your company’s fellowship (deadline to take advantage of this benefit is February 13, 2009)

$75,000

  • Option to name one fellow in donor’s area of interest

  • Option to provide one additional criterion for selection of fellow (major, area of interest, bilingual, geographic area of hometown, year in school, etc.)

  • Opportunity to provide company mentor for fellow

  • Thank you note from fellows

  • Receive fellows’ profiles and contact information

  • Opportunity to participate as a presenter in fellows’ training

  • Opportunity to host networking reception or dinner for fellows’ at site of major donor’s choice and exclusive discussion with company representatives in the Washington, D.C. area

  • Logo on program signage

  • Interactive logo link on fellowship page of CHCI website

  • Opportunity to participate in CareerLink Live at CHCI’s Public Policy Conference to interview talented Latino youth for intern and job placement

  • Invitation to fellows welcome reception and graduation

  • Option to name two fellows or one fellow who spends half of his or her placement at your company

  • Option to provide two additional criteria for selection of fellow (major, area of interest, bilingual, geographic area of hometown, year in school, etc.)

  • Receive profiles and contact information for all fellows in the program

  • Opportunity to provide company mentors for fellows

  • Opportunity to participate as a presenter in fellows training

  • Opportunity to provide trainers for the curriculum at fellows’ retreat

  • Opportunity to provide 1-day visits for all fellows to company offices/headquarters in the Washington, D.C. area
