Washington, DC The Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), the nation’s leading Hispanic educational organization, is pleased to announce that the position of Executive Director, held by Ingrid M. Durán, has been elevated to President and CEO. The new title change more accurately reflects Ms. Durán’s increasing responsibilities and the full trust the board of directors has placed in her leadership.

“I thank the CHCI Board of Directors for their trust and confidence in me. I look forward to continue working with them in growing CHCI as the premier educational organization in the United States,” said Ms. Durán.

CHCI, a non-profit and non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization, provides educational programs for Hispanic college and postgraduate students.  The CHCI board of directors is comprised of Hispanic members of the U.S. Congress, non-profit sector leaders, and corporate executives.  For more information on CHCI, call 1-800-EXCEL DC or visit our web site, www.chci.org
