CHCI Fellows Graduate Program, Moving on to Prestigious Careers

21 Successful Latino Youth Prepare to Give Back to Community

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI), the nation’s premier Hispanic youth leadership development and educational organization, announced that its Public Policy Fellows — selected from across the country — have completed the Institute’s nationally recognized, nine-month Public Policy Fellowship. Many will remain on staff with their Capitol Hill placements, while others go on to Senate and Committee offices, or to pursue degrees in Law, Medicine and Policy.

Now in its 26th year, the nation’s first Hispanic Public Policy Fellowship Program provides hands-on experience in policy, with placements ranging from Capitol Hill to the federal government, nonprofit organizations and corporate America.

“Last September, CHCI Fellows brought ambition, insight and enthusiasm to Washington,” said CHCI President and CEO, Esther Aguilera. “Now, they move forward, armed with leadership experience that enables them to take on new challenges and opportunities, and create lasting, positive change.”
