2009 Annual Report
CHCI is proud to report that 2009 was a huge success as it met its fundraising goals, expanded its programs and services to Latino youth, and increased its visibility and outreach efforts. And it did so despite a national economy in turmoil.
In CHCI's 2009 Annual Report, we highlight the significant impact our programs our having on Latino youth and the community and demonstrate that the critical need for CHCI's programs and services continues to increase as the Hispanic population grows to one in four U.S. residents by 2030.
CHCI thanks its Legacy Partner, Walmart, its Visionary Partners, and all of its supporters throughout the year for making 2009 a year to remember.
"The internship has been an amazing opportunity to connect with both emerging and established leaders in the Latino community and has challenged me to grow as a leader and an individual. Interning in our nation's capital for an entire summer allowed me to gain the confidence to enter the competitive realm of politics. I strongly believe that CHCI creates the foundation to build a strong future for the Latino community and I feel honored to have been chosen."
