2009 Public Policy Conference



More than 800 people attended the 2009 Public Policy Conference themed, "Latinos Leading in a Global Society," held at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center.  Over 22 Members of Congress, four Cabinet Secretaries, along with national policy leaders and experts discussed Latinos leading in key issue areas such as the 2010 Census, education, the economy and workforce, the green economy, energy, immigration reform, health care reform, rural America, Western hemisphere diplomacy and prosperity, and much more.
