CHCI and StateFarm Team up for R2L NextGen
CHCI would like to thank State Farm Insurance – founding partner of CHCI's R2L NextGen Program – for providing 40 Latino high school students with the opportunity to participate in a week-long leadership and civic engagement program in Washington, D.C. This decade-long relationship has empowered many young Latinos and Latinas from across the country; exposing them to the U.S. political process, while highlighting the countless opportunities for furthering professional development that are available to them. CHCI is proud to have State Farm Insurance as part of its growing family, and hopes to continue fostering this relationship for years to come. “Our support of CHCI’s Ready to Lead (R2L) NextGen Program reinforces State Farm’s commitment to young people, their families and our community,” said Steve Aguilar, State Farm's Operations Vice President - Claims. “We know that access to leadership programs is a key factor for the success of Latino students.”
State Farm and CHCI have partnered up to change the lives of hundreds of young Latinos. As a result, many of these students now have a better understanding of what it takes to be a leader, and feel empowered enough to pursue their dreams of an education. Thank you StateFarm for all your support throughout the years and your unwavering commitment to CHCI’s mission!
