CHCI Recognizes Six Outstanding United Health Foundation (UHF) Scholars

On June 26-28, The 4th Annual UHF Diverse Scholars Forum took place in Washington, D.C. The forum brings 76 scholarship recipients together to recognize and celebrate their accomplishments and inspires them to work toward strengthening the nation’s health care system. CHCI's scholarship opportunities are afforded to Latino students in the United States who have a history of performing public service-oriented activities in their communities and who demonstrate a desire to continue their civic engagement in the future. The scholars come from different organizations that work with the UHF. Of the selected, six were CHCI-UHF Scholars. Congratulations to Andrea Nicole Leiva, Carolina Gonzalez, Adrian Hernandez, Julia West, Hector Colon-Rivera, and Stacey Pereira (pictured from left to right below) for their participation in the UHF Diverse Scholars Forum.
