CHCI is proud to announce Diego Castañeda as the winner of CHCI's Election Day 2012 Video Contest. In the interest of promotion promoting civic engagement among Latinos, we asked our supporters to share with us why YOU voted during this election. Many summited their entries and despite having to go through hundreds of creative videos, we where moved by Castañeda’s work explaining what drives him to be more publicly engaged. As the winner, Castañeda will receive an exclusive invitation to attend CHCI’s Swearing-in and Welcome Reception in Washington, D.C. on January 3, 2013, where we will welcome the Hispanic American Members of the 113th Congress. In addition, Southwest Airlines will provide the winner one round-trip airline voucher, valid for anywhere they fly in the Continental United States. Congratulations, and we will see you on January 3rd for CHCI’s Swearing-in and Welcome Reception in Washington, D.C. | ||
