CHCI-Telemundo DIGITAL MEDIA Intern Job Description

Digital Media interns are involved with the content and technical operations team at Telemundo.com. Interns will primarily learn the daily operation of a website. There are several roles that are offered, based on major, to prospective interns. Some of the roles are:

Web Designers: student will be exposed to creative digital design in form of banners, animations, and other visual styles and techniques used in Digital Media. Ideal candidates must have knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, HTML, and Macromedia Flash.

Editorial Web Producers: student will assist the homepage team in daily updates on Telemundo.com. Work closely with the editorial team members on getting the day’s assignments completed. Must be able to work in a deadline-driven environment. Ideal candidate must be bilingual (English/Spanish), fluent in Spanish and a strong writer; knowledge of Communications and Journalism, with excellence in grammar; strong Internet and technical skills; must be proficient with MS Office programs.

Production Focus: Student will assist in video editing, shooting, and publishing to the website.

Market Development: Student will assist with client services (execution of market strategy) and will assist in development of ideas.
