CHCI United Health Foundation Scholars
In addition to providing scholarship opportunities for Latino youth, the United Health Foundation decided to partner with CHCI to create a six-month internship program for students interested in the medical field. Seventeen participants enrolled in either a full-time undergraduate or graduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, vocational or technical school were selected.
The interns are placed throughout the country at various clinics, hospitals, and organizations in the following states: Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, New Jersey, New York and Texas.
