CHCI Scholarship Fund
The Scholarship Fund helps ensure the benefits of a post-secondary education are available to Latino students for whom the cost of community college, a four-year college, or graduate school would otherwise be out of reach. Minimum scholarship awards:
- $1,000 for students attending a two-year institution
- $2,500 for students attending a four-year institution
- $5,000 for students attending a graduate program
Scholarship funds are awarded to students of all majors; the basic criterion for selection is financial need. These scholarships fund education-related financial needs.

- 14 undergraduate scholars; OR
- Five community college scholars and 12 undergraduate scholars; OR
- 10 undergraduate scholars and two graduate scholars

- Membership to CHCI’s 1978 Society
- Opportunity to specify two criteria for scholarships (major, area of interest, GPA, bilingual, geographic area or hometown, year in school, etc.)
- Receive scholars’ profiles
- Receive scholars’ contact information
- Opportunity to provide company mentors for scholars
- Recognition as scholarship sponsor on regional scholarship dinner collateral material
- Opportunity to provide professional updates, industry-related and career information, best practices, and personal growth development tips and tools to all CHCI scholars through a CHCI-generated monthly e-update—developed to keep students abreast of developments among various market sectors and provide resources for academic and professional success

At the $100,000+ level, CHCI sponsorship programs will be customized to meet the needs of donors. All sponsorships at this level include the opportunity for company representatives to review applications for the scholarship. Deadline to take advantage of this benefit is April 16, 2013.

- 28 undergraduate scholars; OR
- 10 community college scholars and 24 undergraduate scholars; OR
- 12 undergraduate scholars and eight graduate scholars
